Auto Disable syringes for Immunization Fixed Dose
AD + RUP
ISO 7886 – Part3: Auto –disable syringes for fixed-dose immunization
The re-use prevention mechanism starts in the middle of the injection before the dose it fully administered. Designed for type 1 single aspiration only.
Less than or equal 1cc syringe is available for this design.
Auto Disable Syringe for Re-Use Prevention Variable Dose
ISO 7886 – Part 4: Syringes with re-use prevention feature.
Can be re-used if the safety feature is deliberately avoided on syringes with a Reuse Prevention Feature Type 2 which requires elective activation upon completion of intended dose.
Anything above 1cc is available for this design.
Important Points
* AD = Auto Disable
* RUP= Re-use Prevention
GMR are the pioneers of the plunger hook system Auto Disable System. Boasted most economical because it does not require any other special machinery then basic machinery to produce these syringes as well as low production cost.
Auto Disable Syringe is part of the WHO directive reduce the spread of infectious disease by re-use prevention.

Re-Use Prevention Variable Dose type syringe available for sizes large than 0.5 cc. Used for curative purposes.
0.5 cc Auto Disable Fixed Dose. Used for immunization purposes.
Interlock Needle hub that prevents removal of the hub. A re-use prevention feature.
The loading line is a guide for user to accurately measure the syringe nominal volume without pushing and activating the disabling mechanism.
Disabling mechanism starts in middle of injection. This is the fully administered position where plunger fully locked into the barrel nozzle.
When plunger is pulled back the pluger will automatically break disabling the syringe.
Disposable Syringes for Vaccination (LUER SLIP)
ISO 7886-1 Part 1: Syringes for manual use
Meets basic product requirements for manual syringe in addition to one condition which is deadspace volume of syringe to be less than 35 micro liters.
The ultra low deadspace volume syringe is specifically designed to minimize deadspace in its barrel nozzle and unique plunger design.
Important Points
GMR patented the design of barrel nozzle and plunger tip. Makes it easier for assembly and mass production. Its sturdy plunger tip is robust to extend even further encompassing completely the space in the nozzle and some the space between needle hub and nozzle. It is also the lowest deadspace syringe which is also a luer slip nozzle syringe.
This design is great for vaccines that are expensive where every drop counts. Where standing orders requires an interchange of needle hub.

ULDV Syringe with its no twist needle cap.
The plunger tip and gasket of the ULDV syringe is unique design to help lower deadspace volume.
The ULDV syringe is a luer slip nozzle design therefore needle hub can be switched. This is preferred standing order procedure for some countries for vaccination.
The barrel nozzle of the ULDV syringe is specially designed to fit plunger tip like a glove. Minimizing deadspace volume and maximizing space occupied.
Disposable Syringes for Vaccination (INTEGRATED)
Insulin Syringes
ISO 8537 Sterile single-use syringes, with or without needle, for insulin
The integrated syringes are based on insulin type syringes. Where needle is fixed cannot be interchanged. In the case of insulin usage, hub sizes can range from 28 G to 31 G with lowest deadspace volume. The reason it is used this way with insulin is its effectiveness in saving insulin.
Furthermore, innovation lies in the integrated Needle syringe to be used available to other larger sized needle gauge that might be used in Immunization and curative situations to save vaccine or medicine.
Important Points
Insulin syringes are being used for vaccination catering to specific standing order practiced around the world. The advantage of using an insulin type syringe for vaccination, is it has unprecedented lowest deadspace volume which is ideal for covid vaccination.
The common LDV syringe can receive about 6 dosages per vial while the integrated syringe can receive about 7 dosages per vial.
Insulin syringe can also be prepared according to our client wishes.
It is our recommendation that this is the best sensible alternative to present common syringe being used for covid vaccination.
An integrated syringe with a 23 G Hub. Any needle gauge can be attached at the request of the client.
The graduation of the integrated syringe can either be ml or in units depending if it will be used for insulin or vaccine.
Integrated syringe is when there is no hub but when the needle hub and syringe body is one piece.
Manual Retractable Syringe
SIP + RUP: Manual Retractable Syringes
ISO 23908 and ISO 7886-4: SIP + RUP: Manual Retractable Syringes
Manual Retractive Syringe which offers Sharps Injury Protection and Re-use Prevention by applying a unique plunger hook system that drags needle hub inside the barrel. However, most common designs require a O-ring to prevent it from leaking while this design does not. Plunger also breaks to further ensure further prevention measures.
Important Points
*SIP Sharps Injury Protection
*RUP Re-Use Prevention Syringes
The problem with manual retractable syringes is the production cost. The production cost would be less then usual as well as cheaper versus the safety cap and RUP syringes are bought separately.

Manual Retractable Syringe. Available in 1cc, 3cc and 5cc.
When dosage is administered, the plunger hook locks unto the needle hub.
Safely protects the sharps within the container of the barrel and the plunger is broken at the last step of using the syringe. Importantly, please note that hub is contained within the barrel nozzle unlike common retractable syringe/
Needle hub is completely withdrawn into the barrel of the syringe.
The manual retractable syringe can be safely placed without the fear of needle stick injury or being re-used.
